This Peckett 0-4-0ST was preserved, being taken to Steamtown Carnforth when its working life at Courtaulds was over. There is another photo in this collection which shows the loco in Preston station, on its way to Carnforth.
The two chaps on the front of Caliban are Alan Middleton (left) and John Houghton (right) who at the time were respectively secretary and chairman of the Lancashire Railway Circle and had purchased Caliban from Courtaulds.
