PEAKS @ PRESTON

A SELECTION OF PHOTOS OF CLASSES 45 and 46 at Preston

"Peaks" were always relatively rare locos at Preston, being confined largely to the Eastern region. However, holiday traffic to Blackpool from places like Leeds and York, always had the potential to throw up a "Peak" in place of the more normal class 47. On this page are a selection of photos of such trains.
