Anbrico / Felixjaz DVDs

Many of the DVDs in this series include significant portions filmed in and around Preston.

Anbrico / Felixjaz have a wide variety of DVDs and videos, covering subjects in the UK and on the Continent.

Of most interest to Preston rail enthusiasts will be This is Preston which reminds us of how things used to be in the 80s and 90s, reacquainting us with all those sights and sounds which have now been swept away by modern multiple units and the march of the class 66.

Also in the Anbrico catalogue is The North West Class 101-116 DMU - DVD, which includes a class 104 cab-ride into Preston Station.

DESCRIPTION

This is Preston

The 80s are back... And they're DREADFUL!  ... (and so are the 90s)
It's like the 80s never went away - Preston the way it used to be, with 87s, 86s, 85s, 47 galore and even a pair f 25s in their final days. For the DMU fans, 104s and 108s are in plentiful supply, as are 101s and some almost new 142s.
As we move into the 90s, we see the move to Intercity livery, with class 31s on Regional Railways services and much more.
The DVD is rounded off with a short selection of footage from the new millennium, bringing us right up-to date.
This is an essencial nostalgia trip for all of us who had an interest in Preston Station, and railways in general over the last three decades.
